Kind of off the subject, and maybe Danny can answer this, what size of round-over bit did you Alpha owners use on the corners? I was thinking a 1/8" round-over myself. Any thoughts? Thanks, Shawn
I think the biggest round-over bit you can find & fit would be best. I was thinking of using something link this:
...where the short end of the radius would be coming off the front/back faces and the longer part would curl around the side (more gradually). Just an idea for you to chew on.
Also, I assume you used a Jasper Jig to cut all those holes. If so, I found it very handy, when doing the other router-ing operations, to leave that big Jasper Jig base plate on the router. It was nice having that wing sticking off the base to help keep the router planted flat. It was particularly handy when routing those long vertical edges w/ a larger bit, where you otherwise wouldn't have much of a standard baseplate to ride on the speaker.
