It's my turn to share something.  I think that Bruno Walter's reading of the Beethoven "Pastorale" 6th Symphony is as good as it gets, and the Columbia 6 eye stereo version is also a great recording.... but this isn't quite it.  Instead, this is the mono ML 5284,
which is still the great performance and beautifully dynamic recording.  It's a VG+ copy, noisy in places but mostly clean, to see if you are willing to look for the pricey stereo version.  From 1958,
