Hi my name is Joe Fagan and I live in Santa Fe, NM. Have been looking at the Bent Audio and Odyssey sites for a while and decided to join so that I could participate.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Hi, my name is Raymond and, as one can guess from my handle, I live in Washington, DC. I've been doing audio since my early college years, starting with a Scott 242B, AR turntable and Dyna A-25 speakers. Even worked briefly in a Hi-Fi specialty store for a while (remember those?).

I'm retired now, and have multiple systems in my apartment. Like so many, regularly sell off some stuff so I can buy/try new stuff. (Keep an eye out for posting's on Totem, Celestion, and Allison speakers, and maybe some respectable electronics.) After all these years, I think it's time I tried some planars.

My vinyl is in the LR, but I do more critical listening in a second room. System as follows:

B&K Reference 30 Control Center (digital preamp)
Pioneer Elite DV-49A Upconverting DVD
Harman Kardon Citation 19 Power Amp
Totem Sttaf Speakers
Panasonic GT-25 Plasma TV
GIK Acoustics 244 Bass Traps
Apple TV
