correct what I just said, I should of read all of the posted link.  Looks interesting, is there more?  I wonder if this will be at all similar to the way future civilizations or perhaps even space aliens will identify and playback vinyl or other recordings.

Yes it is a very interesting approach I do not know how good it sounds but as you said Mathew this could be even the matter of a sci-fi post human story, novel or picture...

In fact I found that link in a Tech section of starmedia, I was surprised because IT guys do not care much about audio, but this time was different...
