A bunch of us AC members have been playing since 2009. We had a 12 team league last couple of years and it's been fun. I really enjoy the fact that I am less fanatic about my NFL team and pay attention to the whole league during the season. I am wasting less time by not being married to my favorite team and the TV for 3 hours a week.
We are currently at 8 players and need 4 more for 12 and 2 more for 10 team league. We follow ESPN rules and it's a PPR league. There is a modest ante to play but payout is pretty good for winning or placing -- bonus for highest scoring too. Really, it's mostly about bragging rights. It's something to share when you see each other at audio shows or get-togethers.
So, come on down and announce yourself ready to play and the commish will get in touch with you with the details. You don't even really need prior experience. Vinyl Lady started a few years ago from scratch and has done pretty good -- 1 second and 1 3rd place showing.
