Has anyone been able to program a Logitech Universal Remote to control Jeff Rowland electronics?
Logitech lists JR electronics in their database, but I haven't succeeded in programming my Logitech Harmony 650 to control a JRDG Consummate pre-amp, either by copying code via USB from the Logitech MyHarmony app on my PC, or by learning code directly from the JR remote.

Don't have experience with Jeff Rowland products and Harmony Remotes but have used Harmony Remotes with many products.  There's a place to contact Harmony about the problem - https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/compatibility

I've found that sometimes devices are not in the expected listed categories (at least not how I would classify them).

Thanks PhilA! Will contact Logitech support from recommended site.
Are you recommending that I pose my query with a different circle?
I picked Home Theatre circle to ask this question, thinking that HT users have most experience with universal remotes.

No not at all.  It's just that it may not be all that common for someone to have your electronics with the remote.  I've had certain quirks with their remotes and stuff and just work around them.  I have 3 of their remotes from quite a bit and use my Harmony One for both the bedroom system and main system (and even bought one at close-out at a good deal that is still in the box).

Hi Bob2,
The JR is an IR remote. It's working fine but is nearly 25 years old and hard to replace.
