Radial J+4 into balanced inputs on BP-25
« on: 8 Jul 2016, 04:41 am »
Has any one used a Radial J+4 into the balnced inputs on a BP-25 ? I'm figuring the two most used and least hi-fi sources  (FM tuner and TV sound) could be fed in that way -allowing for unbalanced ins for turntables and DA/CD which are for me more important.

Personally I prefer passive DI boxes, and you don't really need the signal boost from the J+4. The ProAV2 or TrimTwo would probably be better and cheaper. Actually, there's really no sense paying the premium for Radial boxes if all you're doing is feeding radio or tv. Something like the ART DTI would be a good choice at a third the price.

thanks -despite a past decades long career in home audio -pretty clueless when it comes to pro audio. will look into the ART box- big fan of their DJ Pre phono preamp.
