This is a Ray Samuels 'The Tomahawk" headphone amplifier. It is designed to be used with in ear monitors and is powered by 2 AAA batteries. It is very small and light weight. Perfect for long plane rides. One of the battery cover thumbscrews is missing, but I've replaced it with a nut from the hardware store.
I'll also include 2 shortie interconnects. One is a straightwire Stereo mini to mini from Headphone.com. The other is an ALO Audio mini to iPod adapter. It's nice Jena Labs copper and could be reterminated easily if your not using an old school iPod.
