Yeah nice pic!

You seem like a good candidate for vintage speakers. Most modern ones sound high strung and bass constipated to me. Suggest looking towards speakers using AlNiCo magnets (not cheap or common) or something like my Ascend Acoustics CBM-170 speakers that offer a more full bodied/non-fatiguing sound.

I never did look closely at my welcome sign but something is

You are 100% right, if you made a friend in NY you’ve have a
real friend for life. While I haven’t lived there in 15 years the
ones I have are still very close. I always like to say that we
would probably take a bullet for one other..
