All of the things you have read about this "all-in-one" audio solution are absolutely true. Not only does it deliver pure, clear, beautiful music with a sweet tone, great imaging, and authoritative bass control, it also includes a world class DAC as well as a phono stage that can accommodate both MC and MM cartridges.
There are so many advantages in having the Devialet on top of its incredible sonics. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to power it up and have terrific music in just seconds, including its ability to stream music through your favorite provider, whether it is Spotify, Rhapsody, Tidal, or something else.
The Devialet can do it all, and do it at an incredibly high, reference level. You can spend all day reading testimonials from people who have sold systems between $50,,000-100,000 not because the Devialet is cheaper, but because they were so pleased with its sonic presentation.
I have had mine a little over a year, so the buyer will still have the remainder of the 5-year warranty.
Oh yeah, the remote is by far the coolest I have ever used. If you have any thoughts of wanting to simplify your system with a great, affordable all-in-one solution, putting all of that money from the sale of your DAC, amp, preamp, phono stage, and assorted interconnects and power cords back into music or other worthy pursuits, than the Devialet is for you.
One and only one caveat. If you are addicted to a euphonic, overly warm presentation from some of the more syrupy or colored tube amps, the Devialet is probably not for you. I would say that its sonic presentation is about as transparent as it gets, with the operative words being "dimensional," "pure," and "powerful," but certainly not lean or bright.
I prefer payment by cashier's check or postal money orders (though cash is fine if you live close enough to western North Carolina to meet somewhere). I can accept PayPal if you pay the 4 percent fee. Shipping costs should be very reasonable, somewhere in the $25 range. Of course, the package will be professionally packed and double-boxed.
