So I just got back from seeing this.

It does seem mildly slow in a spot or two. But otherwise is pretty good.

It definitely is a bit more mature than Pixar's other films. Not mature to the point where you're not going to want to take your kids. But they might not find it quite so entertaining as their other films.

I didn't get much of a feel for any improvement in Pixar's animation over Nemo. But the short at the beginning of the film was mighty damn impressive (especially the water :o ). And the trailer for Cars (the next Pixar film) looked really good. But Incredibles didn't seem much different than Nemo. Infact I'm not sure that it's up to the same overall level that Nemo was.

Guess I'll have to go watch Nemo again to refreh my memory...

Saw this last night.  Yep, you guessed it.  Incredible.  Brad Bird hits another one out of the ball park (Iron Giant).  Voice casting was brilliant, especially Sarah Vowell as Violet (if you guys listen to This American Life you'll know who she is).

Animation was stunning, and the sound design should win an Oscar.  Stunning.  Bird got everything right.  No better praise from me.[/i]

This flick is showing in DLP at select theaters as is Polar express.

Of course I will be catching Polar Express as the very first full length 3d I-max flick.

I thought it was amazing. Graphics are specTACULAR, plot is interesting, characters are catchy and likeable, just all around a kick-ass flick.

And I wouldn't really compare it to other Pixar flicks, it's definitely more "mature", less ... cute? There's no "ane... ane.. anemone!" in this one.

I saw it last night with my son.  Can only agree with what others have said. Excellent voice casting, sound, and video quality was excellent as well. Way better overall than Shark Tale It shoud be great demo material when released on DVD. Well worth a trip to the theater.

The voice of Helen Parr / Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) really got to me. It made me all wobbly-knee-ed... *swoon*

I saw it yesterday...thought it was great!  Definitely more mature and less for kids than the other Pixar films (although the shark scenes from Nemo were a little scary for some younger kids, too)...and not quite as clever with the "average life of a superhero family" stuff that I had expected given how great they've done in the past with toys, bugs, monsters, and fish.  But still very well done, visually stunning at some points, and well worth seeing...

I just saw it and really enjoyed it.  I can't seem to get enough of these superhero movies, even new ones like the Incredibles.  Anyone catch how closely the family was designed after the Fantastic Four?  Aside from the Human Torch, the family members in the Incredibles basically lifts every power from a member of the Fantastic Four.

Anyway, great flick and I'll definitely be picking it up on DVD.

Yeah, I thought about that...I wonder if Marvel will get all puffed up because the Fantastic Four movie is due out sometime next year (I think).  Gotta say that some of the coolest superhero-ing visual effects in the film were of Elasti-Girl... 8)

Great movie!
I saw it with my 4 and 5 y.o. girla and boy respectively.
They both thoroughly enjoyed it, especially my boy.
Did any of you have 5 y.o. kids running rampant in the parking lot after the movie trying to imitate Dash? :)
Scary but funny...
