Was at a private screening of the trailer for Episode 3 tonight (actually ended up seeing it 3 times...).

It's not a terribly well done trailer. It's fairly short, and doesn't show you much. What little you do see is shown so fast and in such a manner that not much of it makes sense. Even after 3 viewings.

Yeah, I know it's just a teaser. But it wasn't getting me terribly exicted.

I saw it on the web yesterday, and yeah, it wasn't all that exciting. Comparatively, the initial teaser trailer from Episode I was fantastic...and quite honestly, knowing how Episodes I and II turned out, this trailer makes me think Episode III will be the worst of all...

Interestingly, I did a few searches, and it looks like a lot of links that people have posted to the trailer on various Star Wars forums have been disabled...maybe Lucas is policing the web to limit distribution of the trailer?

Eh. I SOOOOOOOOOOO wish they had found a better actor than Christensen. He's such a piece of lumber. But I'll see it regardless just to see how the whole arc is tied together.

What happened to the FUN that Harrison Ford brought to the "first" 3 movies...

Lucas took himself too seriously with the "last" three movies and created some unbelievably stiff and unwatchable movies.
But they sure sound good...

I thought it was odd that Lucas went so far out of his way in Episode I to get a kid with straight blond hair that looked like he could grow up to be Mark Hamill (and couldn't act), then went with the curly brown hair w/Christiansen (who also could't act)...you'd figure that if he was going away from the look, he'd get a good actor...unless, of course, he was going for some lame-o symbolism, using hair color and curl to symbolize his "darkening" character...
