Hello Fellow Audiophiles,

It was a pleasure to meet Mr Resnick.  His passion for music and his quest for the ultimate playback system has literally taken him around the world.  I think that listening to him talk about his adventures was as fun as talking to him about our 40 years of history in R&D.

Footnote: I was floored when he told me that he had heard about  my and Jimmy Page's encounter with a group of mean cowboys and our near-arrest for disturbing the peace. That incident happened almost 50 years ago, but I guess it was such a weird incident that it has turned into folk legend. 

I hope that you all enjoy the article and find some useful information there if you're in the market for 'your' ultimate playback system.  If any of you have questions about our new ULTRA-11, contact me or my assistant engineer Leif Swanson.  This fall, we are embarking on a world tour to demo this amazing system.  We will be at Asian, European, and domestic hi-fi shows and will be using digital and analog sources like master tapes along with a great vinyl rig.

I never knew that story about you and Jimmy - very cool!  :thumb:

Great review by Resnick - well deserved accolades for your designs; but of course, I don't need to read about that to know your speakers are world class  8)

Hope to see you and Leif at Newport - we need to talk about phono cables  :green:

Excellent write up with meaningful comparisons. Nice to receive confirmation of what I knew already - that the 55's excel in excellent company

Yes, honest is the perfect word to describe him. No angles. The man just lives and breathes music. He's so comfortable being himself that he just speaks his mind but does so with refinement and nuance at all times. Ron is a true gentleman. I hope he comes again but stays longer nect time. I intend to visit him when I find my way to the west coast again.  Hopefully I get to visit Rodney again too. The VSA factory is of course a must! :)

Please let us all know what the schedule is for the tour for the 11's.
I would like to make this the centerpiece of my vacation in the future.
