I am letting go of this impressive piece as I have upgraded within the Peachtree line. Simply put, the combination of convenience, performance, and price that the Peachtree philosophy offers has been unbeatable. Numerous reviews online have extolled the virtues of this little beast, and having had this in my system, I can see why.
In my system, the Nova 125 tends towards smooth and muscular, rather than lean and analytical. I’ve found it ideal for less-than-perfect sources like Spotify etc., making them sound rich and refined, especially with the tube engaged. The built-in DAC is fantastically good, and takes USB, Coax and Optical inputs. One analog input which sounded good with my basic turntable front-end. Huge amounts of power if your speakers are moderately efficient, and even on less efficient Harbeths, I never needed to turn the volume up beyond the 10 o’clock mark.
The unit is in excellent condition, and has been treated with care in my pet/smoke/child-free home. Apartment-living combined with high sensitivity speakers means that it was never overdriven or abused. Unit will be double boxed with all original accessories.
