The ST70 "relaunches" every so often, just like the cicadas. As far as Van Alstine goes, the last "reboot" of the ST70 openly "borrowed" a number of the changes he made to the original design. He has his own very well regarded "take" on the ST70 concept. Until somebody buys one or a schematic is published, who knows what the story is on this one.

Yes but this is "Hafler-Dynaco" who presumably own the rights (in some way) to actually call it an ST-70.
