Hi, I am a new member in Calgary

Hi, My name is Ron. I live in Calgary, Alberta and I've been interested in stereo equipment and music for many years.  I have 2 turntables - Ariston RD80 and Lenco L78.  I also have a CD player with an Audio-GD DAC attached.  Preamp is Bottlehead, amp is a home brew push-pull 2A3 beast, and I have Quad ESL speakers.  I am very happy with my system.  Also have a couple Stax headphones and 2 associated amps for them.

Is Saltlik a good steak house?

I'll be in Calgary the last three days of July and in Banff 8/1 - 8/6.

Saltlik happens to be a fav of mine.  It is the 3rd restaurant chain from a family (also started Earl's and Cactus Club), so I find it a cut above the average chain.  Affordable, and decent.  And a 5 minute walk from my go to hotel (Fairmont) which is near the office as a bonus.

I am sure a Calgarian full time can offer some suggestions of the best around. 

Other places I have eaten (mostly downtown) include Rush Ocean Prime, Caesar's (I love an old school vibe), Trib (same street as Saltlik) and the Cattle Baron.
