Has anyone owned parts of the Luxman Reference Series?
I like the 5M21 and the 5C50. At least from the literature..
Mike restored a rusty, bargain M-1500 for me, and it continues to be a favorite power amp.
It's interesting how most vintage solid state will often sell for about 50% of original msrp +/-, but tube gear from the same catalog year will be 2x original msrp or more. I had my eye on the Luxman CL-34 tube pre, and then I looked at the eBay ask prices.
