I have a ClearAudio Basic Plus Phonostage for sale in Very Good condition, 8/10.
It is excellent sounding and a solid performer, as it has an external power supply
with an umbilical cord that is provided by ClearAudio.
Made in Germany of course, has been cared for diligently. Comes with original box and paperwork, etc.
Both the phono stage and power supply are solid pieces of aluminum. Because of the texture of the aluminum, it appears a little different in different lighting, so I tried to show a variety of angles and lights.
I used the Basic Plus with a vintage Marantz Model 6300 turntable and it sounded excellent. I thought it helped balance
the Marantz by bringing out more detail and nuance while retaining a sort of lively but balanced sound. Its also got guts &
sounded great with all my genres of music--> jazz, rock, soul, blues, acoustic, pop, orchestral, funk, hip hop, etc.
I will pay for shipping to the lower 48 states if you buy at my asking price, which is $650.
I will double-box it for safety.

Last year, The Absolute Sound gave The Basic+Plus an editors choice award for Best Under $2000 phono stages,
and the Basic Plus retails at 1/2 of that, at $1000. So it has great value.
