Up for sale is The Majestic Integrated Amp from Wells Audio. I bought this amp from World Wide Imports up in Canada. The unit was used as their demo. Upon delivery the right heat fins were loose along with some internal wires that became disconnected so I sent it back to Jeff Wells and he fixed what was wrong while going over the entire amp. I must say that Jeff Wells is one of the true gentlemen in this business! He even extended the company's 5 year warranty to me. If anyone is considering any of his products, don't be swayed by the size of his company. This man stands behind what he makes!
I ran the Majestic in my system for about a month but ultimately decided that I liked having a separate preamp in my system. The Majestic is a SS amp but let me tell you that the sound is not a dry analytical type but warm, inviting while retaining ample detail. If I were to use one word to describe the Majestic it would be "Spacious". I will refrain from using the much overstated term "tube-like" for the Majestic's sound. I am a SS amp guy and I again state that the sound from the Majestic comes in on the warm side of neutral. There is no hint of fatigue in long listening sessions.
The Majestic currently resides in NE Ohio. I rate it 9 out of 10. There is not a mark, ding or scratch on this piece. The integrated ships in the original boxes, along with a remote, power cord and manual.
