I can't believe I never saw this . Fantastic movie !! I think it's the first Coen Brothers' movie. Love these guys!
I need to see a couple more movies that they did. I need to see Miller's Crossing . I really liked Inside Lewyn Davis.

No Country for Old Men, Raising Arizona & Barton Fink could just as easily be the top three though.

We actually just saw this recently as well, and agree - fantastic movie. Millers Crossing on the other hand wasn't as satisfying on first watch - I think it's one that will need another viewing.

Despite considering myself a bit Coen Bros fan, I also have a fair number to see for the first time - it's a bit surprising just how many films they've put out.

You watch it and you think "Oh man, don't do that!" and then he does it.  And things just grind against him.  Great flick.

Damn good film.

I think the only film that they wrote and directed that I haven't watched is The Ladykillers. I'll get to work on that soon.

I thought Ladykillers was fun, witty and juvenile. So much so I saw it twice.
