Or just get used crappy looking bike purchased cheap. Upgrade the seat to something comfortable but make sure it looks unattractive.Also upgrade or look over the drive train (chain, etc) to make sure it runs smooth. If branded, remove stickers. Replace all fast connectors for the wheels, etc. That's what I used to do when biking in big cities in Europe. If stolen it's not too bad and you may even get out a new one from your insurance.
On the other hand, something electronic looks like fun though. Il
