Not sure how much of interest there is in this kind of gear for AC but I could really use the boost right now. Please, tell your mother, sister, and best friend if they have any interest in Stax or headphones!
Both include original factory packaging, I don't ask for any additional paypal fees and shipping is on my dime. I am willing to listen to trades and reasonable offers but I am positive you can research and find the prices I have are already quite low. For the set I am asking $1350 for both. I have better/more pictures as well, just ask.
$475 Lambda Nova Signature (LNS) - Foams removed, 507 pads, drivers re-attached to baffles
These are very well known to be one of the best sounding Lambda frame Stax' out there and the first time I heard a pair I knew it to be true even though I owned the O2mk1.
These have modern Stax leather 507 pads with modern cloth inner screens (original is pleather/foam). These are clean and in superb shape despite their age, not all scuffed up or rotting with old foam; they should last the new owner another lifetime or two. The only remaining nitpick I have is the headband padding; it is in GOOD condition, but is original so it's not quite pristine but it is still decent. International sellers offers genuine replacements for around $40 or $50 delivered in the USA if you want a new one.
I will also include genuine new and unused pleather (207) pads and adhesive though the 507 pads are most certainly better.
$925 SRM- 727II - Black in color, USA market 117v (the 727a is the International market version)
This one is a real deal 727II @ 117v for the USA market. This unit has the feedback stage added back in by adding 4 resistors to the two removable circuitboards. The mod has been outlined by Spritzer and IMO is an essential mod as the amp sounds significantly better than when compared to stock. The sound is definitely a lot clearer and less muddy sounding.
The 727II's condition overall is very nice however there are some minor cosmetic imperfections.
I can include the additional vishay rn60 resistors for slightly increasing the gain to match older Stax amps; not necessary IMO but nice to have if needed.
