Intro of multi-channel guy
« on: 12 Apr 2016, 02:17 pm »
Hi, all. My name is Chris and I have a recently updated multi-channel system for music, movies, and television. I'm getting into file based digital, with some experience in the past with iTunes, but looking at options like JRiver, Roon, etc.

In the past month, I've replaced my Bel Canto equipment (PL-1a, EvO6, PrePRo) with Oppo & Bryston (BDP-105D, 6B-SST2, SP3), partially to accommodate HDMI and newer codecs, DAC chips, and streaming capabilities.

My speakers have been, are and will likely continue to be for some time Revel Ultima (original, not 2). Studio, Voice, Embrace and Sub30. I have never properly calibrated the Sub30 using the built-in 3 band parametric equalizer so will be tackling that soon.

Cheers,
Chris V
