Celestion SL6 Speakers - Copper dome tweeter, Teak Veneer

There are far too many reviews and "expert" commentary on the SL6, for me to "copy paste" here.  Stereophile has covered the SL6 as well as given it several mentions over the years.

My personal experience with the SL6 ( 600si and now 700) has been great.  They LOVE clean high powered amplification and deliver a detailed,  stereo image akin to the rogers Ls3/5a, Kef reference 101, and Acoustic Energy AE1

They were mated with various amps while I've owned them.  Most recently a McIntosh MC7300 power amp ( also for sale),  Aragon Palladium Mono amps,   and for a while with an Audire Forte ( also soon to be sold).   

this set is in VERY good condition and sound great.

I owned at pair and had great fun with them. Great performance for the price and if not looking for rock concert levels. They can play loud but super loud is not their thing. A good choice if your system leans to a slightly bright analytcal side. Speakers offer up good detail with fast musical bass. They look in great condition as well.

Appreciate the user testimonial ..  I agree,  they are solid performers all around and have been praised for their ability to work equally well in near  and mid field set ups.
