Not sure if any of you guys have been watching the auction but the classic market is hotter than ever.

Saw this roll across the block earlier, a '69 Boss 429
 

This went for meager $500,000, add a 10% buyers premium and it went for a cool $550,000




....I sure wish I have saved some of the cars I had back in the 70's

Wow that's an unreal price--definitely into Shelby Cobra 427 range (with racing provenance!)  Cool car, but worth a half-mil?  Wow.

That is one of the best looking cars of all time (imho) but a half mil!?!?! 
I love watching their show, but do become frustrated when they make you follow a car, tell you all about it, drool all over it, then push it off stage and don't tell you what it sold for.
