SOLDThis is a REL T-3 subwoofer, which I find very musical and easy to integrate with a stereo system. REL likes to refer to this series as a sub bass system and highly recommends using the High Level connectors for the best results. This unit is 150W, uses an 8”driver and 8” passive radiator and lets you vary the crossover frequency from 30 – 150 Hz. The Owners Manual has detailed and easy to follow instructions for installation and integration with your system. I have used this sub in small to medium size rooms with a low powered SET amp with excellent results. The high level connection is simple to set up and has no effect on the sound of the amplifier. Its compact size makes it easy to place.
I am the second owner of this unit, having purchased it about three years ago. There is a piece of thick metal tape on the back that was there when I bought it. I do not know why it is there, perhaps from a repair. The unit worked perfectly, so I did not inquire about it.
