~OFF~

This is a rare opportunity to pick up one of the best sounding speakers under $10k. The JM Reynaud Orfeo Supreme V2 speakers are six months old in absolutely mint condition....I'm the original owner.  If you've been thinking about getting into a pair of Harbeths, you owe it to yourself to try the JMR's.  They are similar to Harbeth in terms of organic, natural sound, but do everything better.  I've owned 3 pairs of Harbeth speakers (most recently the HL5 pluses) and when I heard the JMR's, it was an immediate improvement from Harbeths....same wonderful midrange, but more immediate (not as laid back) and better bass. JMR utilizes an advanced transmission line which accounts for the superior bass.

An excerpt from Positive Feedback on the previous version of the Orfeos:
(This current version is significantly better)

"They are rich, but they offer lots of top-end energy and life. They have satisfyingly deep bass but are very room-friendly; they're quite easy to place fairly close to the walls without the sound getting tubby or congealed. (I place mine about 3 feet out from the back walls and about 4 feet from the side walls, with my equipment rack in between.) And, of course, like other Reynaud models, they have a midrange to die for. In brief, they are gorgeously balanced, with that magical Reynaud knack for giving you everything you want and nothing you don't want."

From the US Distributor's website:

"JM Reynaud speakers are the most congenial, least confined, least repressed speakers I know of. They pursue the natural warmth, body, and immediacy that give many listeners their chief emotional charge from music. They are naturally warm and robust but there is also, especially with the latest generation of Reynauds, greater transparency and sense of spatial magic.

Reynaud speakers have a way of providing the perfect marriage of sonic information and musical expressiveness that seems to elude so many other designs.

Also:
"Orféos are the reference speaker for David Elrod of Elrod Power Systems: “To me, the Orfeos are far more than a well designed loudspeaker. They are a finely tuned musical instrument that will thrill and astonish you. They are a masterpiece.”
