By the way, if memory serves, you have a Saab, don't you? But maybe it's a 9⁵, in which case you're safe (as of today).

Hi Bob, had a Saab 9-3 Viggen, but had to sell it when the second child came.  Couldn't handle two doors and electric front seats.  Bought a VW Jetta Wagon (diesel -- a double whammy), which is also on the Takata list.  As for Subaru, they say it's the passenger side on her car (2006 Subaru Outback, forget the engine size though).  Will report back once we see if they will/can fix it.

Just traded a Honda Fit with the recall. No car with that airbag can be resold until it is replaced.
The guy told me that car is liable to be in their back lot for 8-12 months before anything can be done.
What a fiasco!
