Does Bryston use lead-free solder on any of their circuit boards? I've read that the electronics industry has switched to lead-free. And also that lead-free solder can form tin whiskers that might increase failure rates in low-current boards.

Yes we have used lead free for many years now.  You have no choice as it is an environmental requirement.
