Acoustic Imagery Atsah Hypex NCore 1200 mono block amps
These are the best of the best version of these amps, as only 5 pairs like this were ever made. The cases are CNC machined from solid blocks of billet aluminum, with completely custom Atsah faces, and black anodized. They are exquisitely crafted and quite hefty. Sonically, they are clearly a cut above the various NC400 and NC500's, confirmed by the very few who have actually heard each of them.
The NC1200's will effortlessly drive anything extant, including my power hungry TAD Evolution 1's, with power, clarity, and finesse. These are by far the most satisfying amps, among many, ever to grace my system. Please note I've put sorbothane rubber feet on only as protection, so you can choose whatever you want to put beneath them and be rewarded (Herbies, Stillpoints, Nordost Fut, etc.). For those that inevitably ask, I've already made the choice to go integrated and smaller.
