Time to binge - season 1 is almost over so I just started watching Vinyl.

'Vinyl', on HBO is a frenetic drug fueled drama/mystery series set in the early 70's. The show is written and produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, with Scorsese directing the 2 hour premiere and Jagger as music director featuring the soundtrack to our lives.

I liked it, recommended for anyone who likes sex, drugs, rock and roll, and Scorsese.

I really like it, might pick it up on Blu-ray when it comes out.

Wanted to like it but after watching pilot found Bobby Canavale performance too forced and overall the tone a bit too strident. Maybe if in the subsequent episodes there's more of the other characters like Juno Temple and less of Boby / Richie I'd be more tempted to watch.
