For sale is my Class A SET 40 amplifier.  It has loads of current and and puts out 35wpc; it also handles 4 ohm nominal and current hungry speakers with absolutely no problems.

If you're been wanting to get into SET this amp is the perfect opportunity.  It's very modern in operation, and not romantic sounding at all.

The large 845 driver tubes last for 3,000+ hours, and they auto bias.
The small 12ax7 tubes last for 10,000+ hours, and they also auto bias.

Please note, the 845 is not a small tube, it's the size of a tallboy can! The amp is 19" wide, 14" tall, and 70+ lbs!

If you listen 20 hours a week, you have to change the tubes every three years. That's a 5 minute job that requires no tools - it's almost exactly like screwing in a lightbulb.

There are short heat up times because the amp keeps the circuit regulated with low power on standby mode.

So this amp has the optional cage rings to for safety - the cage rings are beautiful (+$380 option).

This is currently at the Bel Canto factory getting a full round of updates, with the latest version of transformers that are less than a year old and supplied by Bel Canto.

I need another knee surgery so it's time to sell this beautiful piece of work.

It will be like new condition and include a service warranty.

Tubes are like new with less than 50 hours on them, and test at 95%+. A new set of tubes is about +$300.

The last price on this was $5500 without the tube rings.

I have all original packaging and manual.

Thanks!

Just to clarify guys: it is NOT an integrated, there is NO remote.  This is a power amplifier only. The photo is the actual item for sale - the numbers will be turned off this was for testing only.
