As Blackmore mentioned, there are a number of us locally, and a few out this way. Mark is in Wright City, I'm north of Pacific, Bob in StL and Ryan (Vapor Speakers) are down in High Ridge, Bryan GIK Acoustics) is in Wildwood and a few others are reasonably close.
I'd suggest as Mark did, place a post in the GAS circle

For me, no need to meet off site first, just come on over. I've got a system built specifically for listening to classic rock...well...loud. Have a look in my gallery and you'll get a feel for what I mean
You'll find we've got a nice mix of guys. Some are solid state guys, some tubes, some hybrids, some are into vintage, most are vinyl, most have nice digital too. Some, like me, are ex-audiophiles who have embraced the dark side (tone controls)...and wouldn't be caught dead without them. Big thing is we are all music lovers.
