Watched this last night for the first time - a play recorded in a small nightclub in New Orleans....Audra McDonald portrays Billie Holiday at one of her later concerts in 1957 at a small club in Philly....Mrs. McDonald is truly spectacular...this is hard to turn away from once you start watching it. Audra McDonald is one of the great actors of our time....more Tony Awards than anyone else if I'm not mistaken.
