Hi Darth Audio,

How many records does one shelf typically hold? Can one shelf be broken down to be used as two shorter shelves? Also, are they steel construction?

Each shelf can hold 180 records. If you were to split the rack, you would need to buy another base. Made in the USA from solid steel.
