Killer transport.  I upgraded the power cord on this unit, otherwise, it is stock.  I have remote which doesn't like to open the top hatch for VCR controls, and a printout of the user manual.  Looks great, no scratches on the front or sides that I can see.  Listed new for over $1000.  I'll take $200 for it, or PM me an offer.

I might be interested in the Sony S7000 for $200.

How old is it?  Any guess how many hours are on it?  

I'm looking for a $500 - 1000 transport and so I'm also wondering if due to it's mechanical condition/age if it'd be worth the investment to mod it.  What's your opinion in this regard?

Don't understand your comment regarding the remote, could you clarify?
