My wife and I were wandering around a very large Eslite Bookstore/shopping arcade a couples days ago when I saw this small shop selling guitars. I don't play the guitar, so as my eyes began to drift away from the store, I caught sight of a pair of speakers with a small sub sitting between them placed on a shelf of a bookcase. Whoever put them there clearly wasn't trying to impress would be customers because they were so poorly placed. [It turns out the owner likes them there and has no intention of selling them.]
Rather than being produced in Taiwan or China (as was my expectation), I discovered that they came from Portland, Oregon! Hot damn! I love that city.
Here's the link to the website for anyone who is interested. I did not listen to the speakers for more than 45 seconds and they were very poorly placed, but still they sounded decent.
