..... or is it a slight oxidation on the cell terminals reducing voltage/ Or is it something else......whats your take....
I think part of it could be terminal contact oxidation because I can sometimes get a remote to work by spinning the batteries around their axis (and burnishing the contacts), without any real pressure or shock to the batteries. Maybe banging it does a bit of both, as "stimulating" the electrolyte seems plausible, too.Steve
Stimulating the Electrolyte would be a great name for a rock band.
