House of cards season  4 is back on Netflix. Very interesting program about politics.
Kevin Stacey plays the part of President Underwood. He is GREAT!!! in the role.
Rotten back stabbing S.O.B.!!!   How about that!!!

                                         Cheers

Funny, I can never watch shows with court scenes because I'm a litigation attorney so they drive me crazy as being so unrealistic.  "I object", "overruled" - anyone care to offer any reasons for either?

Hilary Clinton apparently power watched House of Cards.  The scary implication is...  it's not that far from reality.

Have you seen the other candidates running this year?  Donal Trump and Chris Christie come to mind.  None of the candidates to me (save maybe Burnie Sanders) seem like nice people.  I'd like to sit out this election cycle.

I lost all hope for "nice" years ago...I'd just be happy if we could have politicians with a semi-decent notion of integrity.

Anywhooo...I agree House of Cards is a blast. This season is a bit odd for me...I'm finding myself enjoying it, but at the same time I feel like the writer changed in ep3, and they just started throwing all sorts of crazy ideas at the wall to see what stuck. It's gotten pretty absurd a few times here and there...but hey, it's a tv show. And it's to entertain. So I'm good.

I guess Syrah isn't watching "the People vs OJ Simpson" on fx...

When I saw Alex Honnold on 60 Minutes a few years ago free solo climbing Half Dome I thought it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen...and still do. Don't know how long this doc has been on Netflix but I just saw it last night and thought it was awesome.

I have not seen Meru but its on my list.

I'm not a rock climber but love the outdoors and this doc just fascinated me. They could have named it Sex, Drugs, and Rock Climbing as it shows the history and culture of the climbers from the 50's til now and centers on Yosemite. If your'e a former climber you'll love it!
