Well... I just paid for a Wells Audio Majestic. I got what I believe to be a great deal on a dealer demo... already broken in! I should have it next week. I'll update the thread with my initial thoughts. It will be pair with my Philharmonic 3 speakers. Since there seems to be some early love for this integrated with Salk speakers, I'm hoping it will be a synergistic combo with my speakers as well since they are kinda the first cousins to Salks.- Woody
I also have a Wells Audio Majestic Integrated sitting in my listening room. I just need to finish up my C.A.P.S. Pipeline server. I recently sold off some nice Odyssey Kismet monos so hopefully the Majestic will deliver the musical goods!I too bought a demo but had to send it back to Jeff Wells. Jeff is truly one of the good guys in this business. A real pleasure to deal with. Regards,Randy
My monoblocks are Odyssey Kismets as well. Fully pimped. I like them too much to sell them to fund the integrated. I am past the point to roll the dice on changes... I'll be A/Bing and making a choice after a few months. - Woody
Haha. It's driving me crazy too. Through a round about chain of events the amp wound up getting sent back to Jeff Wells to get checked out throughly and brought up to the latest and current spec. I don't know the specifics, but from what I understand it's just a few changes to enhance future serviceability and nothing that will effect it sonically. It will be shipping directly to me from Jeff himself this week. Believe me... I'll post ASAP. And with Pics of course. Here's where it will be parked. Right in place of my Juicy Preamp. - Woody
How many hours would you say you have on the Kismets? I remember after about two months of playing them everyday they really opened up and went to that next level. I had thought of selling mine at one point but they are really excellent sounding amps that I eventually just decided to hold on to them. But just to bring home a point that Klaus always says, I believe the magic with Odyssey amps is Klaus' ability to adjust the bias to the owners home voltage. I think a lot times people get his amps used that were biased for a different voltage and come away thinking they're not that great or sound different than what they had expected but I believe having the correct bias for your personal living space is really key to getting that sound that Klaus is known for.Look forward to more pics!

Woody,Are those Herbie's gliders under your speakers?
