Help with ID and value of VMPS ribbon monitors
« on: 2 Mar 2016, 06:39 pm »
Hello,

I have found some VMPS speakers in a storage unit auction I won.  The speakers are gloss black.  There is a huge powered subwoofer, large center channel monitor and 2 front (or rear) monitors.  There is a montercable set and a Boston SA1 subwoofer amplifier (but missing power cord)...
I did not have a tape measure but:
The Subwoofer is approx 28" wide, 18" deep and 18" tall.
The Center channel is approx 28" wide, 12" tall and 14" deep.
The Front/Rear monitors are approx 16"wide, 12" deep and 10" tall.

Does anyone know what these are valued at?  The sticker on the back of the center channel says THE VMPS RIBBON MONITORS....

I found out that they were really expensive and are no longer being made.

Thank you!
