Sonus Faber Minuetto Speakers. SATIN BLACK
I've had the concert series both the standard and home, Concerto, Concertino, Grand Piano and enjoyed them all. None so much as the Minuetto . It's warm without being muddy in the vocals and plays well with both Tubes and Solid State gear. I've used them with the McIntosh MA2275 Tube Integrated ( also listed for sale here on Audio Circle). Imaging is great and they have a nice Open soundstage.
This set is in the less common Satin Black.
Terminal cups on the classic sonus faber speakers were over tightened at the factory and tend to develop cracks around the screw holes. I recently bought a set from Sonus Faber so there are no issues with Cracked terminal cups as you might see with many of the Concerto, Concertino, Solo , Piccolo solo etc) The pics are prior to the cup replacement.
These are Just an Excellent speaker all around. I own 2 sets and will be keeping one pair for myself . The Satin Black pair is up for sale.
