Up for sale are my Gedlee (Geddes) Abbeys and Gedlee bandpass subs along with the stands for the Abbeys.  Long story short, I'm moving and have no idea when I'll be in a position to have this system setup again so it's pointless to put it in storage and it sit.  It's way too good to not be used.

I'll post pics in the next couple of days.

$OLD for Abbeys, stands and bandpass subs plus shipping.  I'll hand deliver within 3 hrs of Charlotte, NC for the asking price.

Jason - Could you get to Fruita, Colorado (81521) in 3 hours? I'm just 5 minutes from I-70.

P.S. Do you offer a senior discount?

I'm wondering too. Where are you headed? I think I saw a comment recently about how you would like to live in Hawaii. Is it happening?

End of an era.

One guy offers a pair of speakers for sale under the pressure of personal circumstances and you see that as the end of an era? Please elaborate -- I don't follow your thinking. That seems a rather grandiose pronouncement about an every day sort of occurrence.

I'd prefer not to post my personal information within a public space but this all isn't by choice.  As I mentioned above, I wouldn't sell the system and don't really need to but to store it for an unknown amount of time isn't a good one either.

I can certainly add the aluminum Rythmik subs I built but I highly doubt anyone is going to want to pay for them but if someone wanted the whole enchilada including the DCX and/or Hypex DLCP (not built) I'm open.  The aluminum subs cannot be shipped by me though.  They're way too heavy and one offs so if they got damaged we're screwed.  I certainly don't have time to build crates either.

I'd much prefer a local sale as I can hand deliver the speakers anyway.

Oh, IIRC, Jason has lived happily with these speakers for a long while. At least to the best of my (admittedly spotty) recollection.

I tend to think of selling a particularly long-lasting piece of gear in my system as the end of an era since that piece has been such a fixture. For me, swapping out the long-lived Musical Fidelity kW preamp (which I still need to get around to selling) for a DEQX HD-4 was the end of an era, since the kW was one of the longest lasting pieces of gear in my set-up.
