Hi all
I'm selling my much loved JD1000RC amp. I'll add some images later, but it is located in Cary NC and will be somewhat expensive to ship due to the packaged weight which is close to 90 lbs.
This amp is a brute. In very good condition. "7" rating due to slight wear on the tube cover and a slightly noisy input selector switch (on the tuner input). I have taken very good care of this amp as the second owner. The amp has the "EZ bias" system and can be biased for any EL34/6CA7 tube without the need for a multi-meter. I believe you can use 6550/KT88 tubes in the amp also, but the EZ bias system will not work for these - you'll need a meter. I have tried KT77 tubes and they sound very good in this amp if you can find a set of good ones.
The factory "subwoofer" output has been disconnected as it added a slight hum to the amp. I can always add it back in. It is straight off the volume pot, so not a very good way to drive most subs.
Input tubes are practically new; in fact the ECC83/12AX7's are a brand new matched pair. Both these and the ECC81 phase splitters are JJ.
Output tubes are Valve Art EL34B. These are very reliable tubes but have quite a lot of hours on them. I cannot offer any guarantee on how long they'll last you. Could be months or years

I only take Paypal and I never charge a fee. I will ship to the USA mainland only. Shipping will cost you extra and, as I said earlier, probably won't be cheap. I do not have the original box, but have a heavy duty Emotiva box that the amp will ship in. I received it in this box so I know it works. If you are near Cary, NC you can come and listen and pick the amp up. This is a private sale - I am not a business and might not ship immediately due to travel, etc. I have perfect feedback on Audiogon and Ebay, feel free to enquire for more details.
I am looking for $1,300. I don't need the money, so low ballers can take a hike in advance
