I have a Swan W12" woofer where the dust cover got pushed in on an accident. I'm don't think this woofer is available any more.
It still works fine but looks like crap. Can you guys think of a way that I can pull the dust cover back out?
I've never done this before.

Thanks for any advise you can give me. Oh BTW, The dust cover material is pretty thick, defiantly not thin.

Wet/dry vacuum, control suction with power switch ON/OFF momentary.

When nothing else works, I have bent the end of a straight pin into a small hook and very carefully pulled it out.  Once creased it will not look new again, but can function OK.

I have fixed a couple using duct tape.  Just gently press it into the crushed area, and pull it out.   Then peel it off carefully.

I have the same issue with one of my woofers. Nothing worked except a grille to cover it up. I forgot about it until you brought it up.

Most dust caps can be fixed with a pin or needle. You can gently dig the pin into the cap (on an acute angle, not perpendicular to the cap) and pluck it out. It is not necessary to completely penetrate the cap. In severe cases it may be necessary to dig in behind the cap, bending the straight pin as glynnw suggested. The mylar or plastic types tend to leave a mark but the older, paper fiber cones leave no witness.

Your caps are textured and look thick enough to pull it off without leaving a witness mark.

I used a vacuum to gently suck the dust cap back into position.  Be careful and follow the previous suggestion.
