Outboard power supply for ultra quiet operation
Preamplifier sounds excellent. I put it in my secondary system and can not stop listening to it - it gives that air and detail to the sound that could be best described as "sweet" and "relaxing to the ears" - accurate highs, sweet midrange, controlled bass, Aikido magic in action.
This Aikido uses outboard power supply to enable using smaller and nicer looking chassis. It also solves the problem of power transformer induced noise and hum - the preamplifier is dead quiet.
Preamplifier will ship with power supply, remote and four RCA "clear-top" 12AU7 tubes.
