BIT questions
« on: 2 Feb 2016, 01:07 pm »
I'm looking into a Bryston BIT (finally).

Is there any problem/issue with having the BIT's close to speakers or other components?

Also, is there any problem with plugging something an unrefined as a Tivo into the BIT along with the SP3, BDP-2, etc? I've read where other power "conditioners" recommend you separate some components from others. My Tivo is the least "high end" component I'd plug in, so if it isn't going to feed back into the BIT and "contaminate" power to the other components, I won't worry about isolating it.

Hi

The BIT uses a large Toroid transformer (to isolate your gear) so I would keep it a few inches from more sensitive components like Phono stages etc.

No issue at all with what other components are plugged into it.
