9 wpc of 300B SET magic. Only selling because I need a bit more power. These were popular kits sold by Angela Instruments, circa mid to late '90s. I believe circuit is based on the JE Labs 300B. If you google, you will find info online, and I think even circuit diagrams.
For example:

Dale resistors
Hammond choke
MIT caps
Audio Note caps
Solen caps
Binding posts appear to be Cardas, solid copper.
Some nice looking after market power cords are attached. Not sure of the model, but the label says "RWA". (Red Wine Audio?)
I don't know about the transformers but they are heavy -- usually indicates good ones. Pt-to-pt wiring, with simple layout and great access on the inside. Sound great as they are, but I see these amps as excellent candidates for the DIY guy that can sling some solder and change parts.
I bought these from a dealer who took them on trade. He intended to sell them, but told me he kept them for his personal use as he thought they outperformed his Manley and Cary 300B. Sold the amps to me as he headed into retirement and downsized.
Tube set each amp:
(1) 6sj7
(1) 300B
(1) 5U4 rectifier
Tubes included in this sale:
Sophia Electric / Full Music 300B mesh plates (1 pair)
KR Audio 300BXLS (1 pair)
JJ 300B (1 pair)
Sovtek 6sj7 (1 pair)
RCA JAN 5693 (1 pair)
Russian 5u4g (1 pair)
I can't vouch for the hours on these tubes, but they all sound fine to me. Seller indicated they had plenty of life left. Always reliable -- I played the amps for maybe 30 hrs total, and never a single hiss, pop, crackle, or hiccup of any sort. Quiet thru the speakers and free of transformer hum.
These amps are in good shape and 100% functional. Please keep in mind they are DIY projects, so they are not audio jewelry. But they are very well built, and to my eye are quite presentable in an industrial kindof way. But everyone has different standards. They do have a few scratches and marks on them. Nothing serious.
I snapped the pics today, so you get exactly what you see.
$1275, plus insured shipping, plus 3% PP fee (if friend / family / gift feature not used)Very reasonable asking price considering the included 300B's cost almost that much.
The packaging will be bullet proof, I've shipped much gear over the years. Figure about 45 lbs per box, shipped from 11561. Pickup for cash is of course welcome.
Thanks for looking,
~ John
