Good to be here
« on: 24 Jan 2016, 11:10 pm »
Hi all,

Long ago, I sold high-end stereo equipment. I've had a sort of low-end audiophile grade system for quite a while -- Spica TC-50s with Velodyne sub, Adcom electronics, AR table with Linn Basik-Plus arm and Benz Micro cartridge, etc. -- but recently revisited my past by picking up a cheap pair of Dahlquist DQ-10s. I'm now looking to upgrade the electronics, which led me here. Looking forward to browsing!

Always liked the Spicas, and only sold off my DQ-10s about 4-5 years ago. Good luck with the amp search but an old Moscode 300 really did wonders for the 10s.   :thumb:

Welcome!  Spica TC-50s were my first speakers and I loved them--sins of omission, not commission.

An old friend of mine had the DQ-10’s back in the day and he modded them..
He had them paired with a Conrad Johnson tube amp and they sounded great.
