Aloha from Oahu, Hawaii. I sincerely hope those of you suffering through the current snowstorm manage to stay warm and dry.
I recently discovered your site and am looking forward to participating in future discussions. Currently I have an SCA-35 that I resurrected and brought into the modern age, at least for tubes! I picked up a stripped chassis that only had the various pots, RCA jacks and speaker terminals still installed. Between Dave's Store and Dynakit Parts I now have a very nice little amp. I also have a TEAC X1000R I have owned since new (1983) as well as a Pioneer RT-707 I repaired and will be refurbishing. My main speakers are Klipsch Forte IIs with Crites tweeter upgrades as well as a pair of Heresy IIs with Crites crossovers and tweeter upgrades. My main amp at the moment is a Carver 6250 receiver which I will be retiring and using the SCA35 in its place. The Heresy speakers are in the bedroom with a Pioneer SA8100 the RT707 RTR and a Schitt Uber II DAC. In the study I have a Pioneer SA5200 and matching tuner with Polk RTi A1 speakers.
Aloha,
Daniel
